I have been fortunate to have been exposed to books on Vedic Mathematics written by Prof Puri at a very young age.When I look back today,i definately feel that it gave me an edge over other contestants in the entrance exams of IIT and IIM's.The best part

which helped me cross check all the quick calculations I had made in my brain.Vedic mathematics builds up your speed and ability to think numbers and that is what counts a lot in todays competitive world!
